Looking for the College Culinaire de Belgique or an alternative? Both share a goal: supporting artisanal gastronomy. We start in Belgium; our aim is European. They do so in different ways. Here’s a short overview so you can choose what fits your values and your situation.
Cost: The Collège Culinaire de Belgique charges €35 per month plus membership fees and an annual subscription. oriri is free during our launch phase. Future paid features will be optional and well below €35/month.
Who decides if you join? The Collège uses a selection committee: every founder must approve each application. oriri has no selection committee and never will. Everyone with a heart for the industry and a commitment to craft and transparency belongs.
Labels vs real stories: The Collège awards a plaque as a mark of belonging. oriri does not award plaques or labels. We believe your story, your craft, and your relationships are your identity.
Who it’s for: The Collège targets producers, artisans, restaurants, grocers. It does not offer a programme for culinary professionals or foodies. oriri supports restaurants, shops, producers, professionals, foodies, and service partners—each with tailored tools and visibility.
